Camelia Ilie

Ms. Ilie serves as the Chair for INCAE Center for Women’s Leadership, Executive Education Dean, and Associate Professor of INCAE Business School. She holds a Ph. D. Degree of Business Management from Comillas Pontifical University in Spain. In addition, she holds an MBA Degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia. She graduated from ESADE Business School’s Senior Executive Program and specialized on Leadership and Change Management at Schools and Organizations both in Canada and the United States.

She is an expert in Executive Education, Corporate Universities, Adult Learning, and Design and Measurement of Degrees and Executive Programs. She teaches Personal and Organizational Change and Leadership Development courses using a combined model from several schools where she has been trained: Adult Learning from Columbia University Teacher College, Emotional Intelligence and Executive Coaching from Richard Boytazis and ESADE, and Neuroscience and Ontological Leadership from Dartmouth University School of Medicine.

In class she applies many innovative methodologies such as an extensive range of self-assessment exercises, group dynamics, and business simulators. She has applied her knowledge to design and develop programs for companies such as Telefónica, Ferrovial, Gas Natural, Repsol, Santander Bank, Iberdrola, PWC, Banco de España, Pfizer, Novartis, Maersk Group, Bunge, YPFB, and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB,) among others. She is a member of the EFMD Steering Committee of Executive Education, the Research Committee of UNICON Executive Education, and the Editorial Board of LID.
